overwhelmingly approved the creation of Starbase
as a new city, cementing Musk’s grip on this
1.5-square-mile patch of Texas swamp as his Mars
Beta Test Site. This 1.5-square-mile coastal
wetland is now the heart of SpaceX’s Starship
program—the rocket that might take us to Mars.
It’s time we had our own currency.
